Im Pippy, I'm a local artist based in Havant, Hampshire.

Art has been a constant for me, since childhood. It's always been a part of my life and a part of me. I am at my best when I'm in that flow. I have tried my hand at many types of art over the years, but I'm mostly fond of pencil sketching & water colour. My mother was an amazing artist, she definitely inspired me when I was a little girl, she used to draw fantastic female figures with dragons, they were wonderful. I started chalk boarding when I was 18, whilst at college, and began painting local boards for pubs. Patchwork Pencil was created in 2011, focusing mainly on creating flyers, posters, logos & websites for local businesses. After 5 years, severe RSI put paid to any further design work and I decided it was time for a shift into a less computer focused arena. I've spent the past 6 years running a wholefood shop, which was a real learning curve and I've met some amazing people along the way. Plus I am in house designer for the business, so I get a lot of creative freedom which I am very grateful for. Now I'm focusing on building a range of artwork including creating a range of greeting cards, cups and writing my first ever book, so more to come in 2021.
